Purpose Statement
The purpose of the Inspection Committee is to form a diverse group of inspectors and associated professionals, facilitating discussions by sharing experiences and knowledge. This group will expand on every phase of construction Inspection, both Residential and Commercial.
The Inspection Committee will collaborate, and compile Inspection Guidelines, to strengthen and build continuity between the LA Basin Jurisdictions. This Committee is designed to engage in group code discussions. As a panel of professionals, we will tackle gray areas of the code and try to build common interpretations, policies, and procedures.
The Committee hosts a monthly inspection photo contest called the "Good, Bad, & Ugly"! This contest is a great way to share role model type work or show just how creative this industry gets not meeting code.
This Committee strongly encourages new inspectors and associated professionals to join and absorb the years of experience in deep discussion. The Committee welcomes anyone retired or in between to share your knowledge. Join us!
